Frequently Asked Questions

Is This Right for My Firm?

Principals at 2 to 10 person firms in urban planning, civil engineering, environmental consulting, architecture, and construction contracting. The common thread is firms that win work through proposals, RFPs, RFQs, and competitive bids, where principals are stretched thin and have missed opportunities because no one had time to look.
No. Debra is not a tech person and does not teach AI like one. Everything is explained in terms of your firm's workflows and practical outcomes. If you can use email and a word processor, you have enough.
That is exactly what the AI Fit Assessment answers. In 30 minutes, Debra maps your highest-value opportunities and identifies where to start. You leave with a specific, ranked list and a clear first step, not a general overview.

How It Works

A paid 30-minute session via Zoom. $500, credited in full toward any engagement. You complete a short intake before the call, and Debra reviews it in advance, so the thirty minutes go straight to your firm. You leave with a prioritized workflow list and a clear first move, whether or not you hire her.
The RFP/RFQ Monitor is $2,000 per month with no setup fee, month to month. Every week Debra scans six procurement sources configured to your practice areas and geography and delivers one curated report. The Proposal Pipeline System is $7,500 setup plus $2,500 per month. It adds three to five proposal templates, automated invoice cover letters, one custom skill, and team training on top of the weekly scan. Most firms start with the Monitor and upgrade when the bottleneck moves from finding work to responding fast enough.
A $15,000 flat engagement. Over four to six weeks Debra rebuilds every major workflow across proposals, compliance documents, client deliverables, and business development, trains your team on each system as it ships, and includes a custom prompt library and a 60-day follow-up review call.
Yes. The Proposal Pipeline System and the Firm Rebuild both include team training. For firms that want everyone trained on the same workflows on the same day, Team AI Day is an on-site option at $8,500 for a half day or $15,000 for a full day plus travel. The AI Integration Series, $8,500 flat, builds a focused set of workflows alongside your team over three to four sessions.
This comes up in every engagement. Not every AI tool is appropriate for every kind of data. Debra helps you understand which tools are safe for client-facing work and which are not, and builds a usage framework your team can follow consistently.

Most clients identify two to three high-value workflows in the Fit Assessment and leave with a clear first step. On the Proposal Pipeline System, proposal turnaround typically drops from weeks to days inside 90 days.
An urban planning consulting firm cut proposal time from two to four weeks of multiple staff writing to two to four days of reviewing and editing, automated invoice cover letters, and replaced manual RFP searches with a structured AI workflow. A structural steel fabrication contractor completed a business plan in three days instead of four to six weeks, delivered a QAC manual in four hours, and protected a $400,000 contract. Both clients now run their AI workflows independently.
